APRIL & TROY | TE KUITI

We don’t think you could wipe the smiles off the faces of these two all day! And boy does it show in these photos! A perfectly set country wedding, set on the family farm and surrounding by beautiful native greenery. Our clear marquee (on debut might we add!) was the perfect addition to allow April and Troy to truly showcase all that the property had to offer. There is something so special about dancing the night away underneath some festoon lights and the night sky. And how about that entrance from the boys for that ceremony?!

A very special wedding to the Love Club team, as with Covid cancellations and postponements, this was the FIRST time our Clear Marquee and Dance Floor had an outting!

Where did you find your inspiration for your wedding day:

Our inspiration was our surroundings. We wanted the wedding to flow perfectly with the nature around us, giving it a very natural minimalistic look.

Where did you purchase your dress and accessories from:

I purchased my dress and wings from BlueBelle Bridal in wellington, shoes were hush puppies and my earrings from Zoe & Morgan. I loved the way the earrings and the dress matched perfectly, the intricate design reminded me of the pattern of bark on trees, and the wings finished the look giving an elvish bush wedding vibe which I loved!

Tell us about your venue and why did you choose it:

Our Wedding was held in the heart of our family farm in Te Kuiti. The ceremony was surrounded by native trees, the most spectacular of them were the perfectly lined matai trees which made our alter. The two matai trees that we were married between were connected at the base of their trunks, giving the feeling that we were always meant to be married there.

We splurged on….

We splurged on livestreaming, April is half Danish and due to covid my family wasn’t able to make the wedding but the most important thing to me was that they were able to be there to in the best quality and service we could afford

 Tell us about the proposal…

I worked on a farm along side the beach, we went for a walk when the sunset was perfect and Troy asked me to marry him. I was so excited I forgot I bought my dog with us and left him behind when we left.
